ImageFIRST GRIP provides an advanced cheque and remittance based processing platform with front and back image capture capability.
ImageFIRST GRIP is also now available as an add-on module for the eFIRST Mailroom solution which allows organisations for the first time to scan and process cheques and remittances together with all incoming mail including general correspondence, forms and invoices to provide a single intelligent scanning platform for all document types.
ImageFIRST GRIP (General Remittance and Image Processing) complements and harnesses the ImageFIRST 9500 transport with an array of advanced technological features. It has a Windows style look and feel, with drop down menus, point and click buttons and a colour screen. It has the ability to be keyboard or mouse driven, and has been designed for ease of use.
The ImageFIRST 9500’s image capture capability enables BancTec to offer ‘lower’ volume remittance processing customers more extensive document management solutions. This will help such organisations to develop enhanced customer management services, utilising information captured during the remittance processing operation. The combined image capture capabilities of the ImageFIRST 9500 and GRIP can significantly reduce time spent retrieving processed documents. With it, customer service operators can retrieve and view documents in seconds. The possibilities for other customer management functions are limitless: capturing change of address details, new orders, electronically store and reference written enquiries, keeping all relevant customer information together for easy accessibility. The system is a stepping stone to the paperless office.
