eFIRST Mobile
BancTec’s eFIRST Mobile toolset uses mobile devices such as PDA’s, digital notepads and pens, and mobile kiosks to allow mobile workers to electronically capture data remotely.
Each mobile device uses an electronic template to record the details of each application or survey. The captured data is then immediately encrypted and securely downloaded, using a wireless connection, to a client’s existing system or to BancTec’s Business Process Outsourcing operation. Each application or survey is processed in real-time using a number of data validation checks. This allows the system to notify the mobile worker of any issues relating to the application or the survey while they are still being completed.
Capturing data electronically at the source eliminates any manual keying requirements and customer data is captured more accurately and more completely. Job allocations can be automated and the costs associated with processing and managing paper-based applications and survey forms are eliminated.

BancTec’s mobile finance solutions provide a real-time, fully automated digital solution for financial service organisations to capture credit card and loan applications remotely. The solutions can be integrated with existing in-house systems or provided as a managed service, which avoids one-off capital outlays associated with promotional campaigns.
- Mobile Insurance Solutions – Effectively deal with loss adjusters and risk assessors
Within the Insurance sector BancTec has developed two applications to assist insurers to deal effectively with risk assessors and loss adjusters. Both solutions allow these specialist workers to gain instant access to centralised information whilst allowing them to quickly capture accurate information when operating in the field. Information can be captured in the form of text, quality photos or in-depth descriptions via audio files which can be immediately transmitted to the underwriter or claims department within a secure and auditable environment.
