Based on our highly successful cheque and remittance processing systems, ImageFIRST DPS (Distributed Processing System) offers a simple and efficient method of processing and balancing all types of credit and debit payments including cheques, remittances, bank giro credits and cash slips at the branch. The solution reduces costs associated with paper handling and increases productivity and customer service at the branch.
By resolving financial transactions at the front or back counter, manual processing and query resolution within the central reconciliation centre is reduced and transactions are balanced immediately, enabling them to be posted earlier. By truncating all financial transactions at the branch, costs are reduced, data integrity improves and exceptional or fraudulent items are detected early in the processing cycle.
