BancTec mobile data capture solutions are available to quickly process a wide range of tasks by field agents including; credit card application opening, loan and mortgage origination, approving insurance claims and loss adjustments, capturing media service subscriptions, performing housing and gas inspections, rent collection and marketing surveys. A range of mobile devices, such as handheld PDA’s, laptops, digital tablets and mobile kiosks can be used by field sales representatives to electronically capture client information. Each device uses an electronic template to record the applicants’ details. When entered, these details are immediately encrypted and downloaded to BancTec’s processing facility using a secure wireless connection. Each application is processed in real-time using a number of data checks including address validation and credit scoring techniques. This allows the system to notify the sales representative of any issues relating to the client’s application so they can be resolved while the client is still completing the form.
