BancTec add Payment Processing capabilities to Transactional Content Management Solution

Cheque processing added to CenterVision v2.1


DALLAS – August 5, 2009 – BancTec, a global provider of advanced, high-volume document and payment processing solutions and services demonstrated its integrated imaging and transactional content management solution at the TAWPI 2009 Forum and Expo, held in August 2-5 in Washington, D.C.

BancTec featured CenterVision 2.1, the recent update of its next generation, global platform for managing multiple streams of inbound information. In addition to CenterVision’s already strong ability to converge departmental capture applications and complex mailroom centers onto a common platform, BancTec added the ability to process financial transactions—such as cheques and vouchers—with general forms and correspondence. 

The IntelliScan® line of high-volume production scanners was also featured, along with BancTec’s full line of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, which include remittance, invoice and mailroom processing.  Also, Jeff Brown, vice president of BancTec’s BPO practice in the Americas, participated in a panel session, Strategies for Outsourcing, Insourcing or Co-Sourcing.  The panel will take place on Tuesday, August 4, from 2:45 - 3:45 p.m.
