J&B Software Announces Interface to BancTec’s DocuScan 9000

J&B Software, Inc., a premier provider of enterprise-wide transaction and payment system solutions and integration services for multi-channel processors, today announced that it has expanded its range of transport applications by developing an interface for BancTec’s DocuScan 9000 scanner.
The DocuScan 9000 is a high-speed, mixed document scanner capable of scanning documents that vary in size, thickness and quality at speeds of up to 260 documents per minute, 15,000 an hour. Some of the features that make the DocuScan 9000 unique are:
- It utilises a completely open paper transport track with an advanced document feeder that does not require pre-sorting of documents by size or type and dramatically reduces paper jams.
- Its ability to feed co-mingled checks, envelopes, tri-fold letters and legal size papers in a single batch without disabling double-feed detection greatly increases productivity.
- Precision camera assemblies allow true 300dpi optical capture of 24-bit colour images with batch selectable capture settings that can include simultaneous output of color or grayscale JPGs and colour-removed bitonal group IV TIF images with no reduction in scanning speed.
