BancTec Names Michael D. Fallin Sr. VP and President, Americas

BancTec, Inc., a global provider of document and remittance processing solutions, has named Michael D. Fallin senior vice president and president, Americas. In this role, he is responsible for the leadership of BancTec Canada; North American sales, hardware and software services; worldwide marketing; North American business process outsourcing; and emerging markets. He reports to J. Coley Clark, president and CEO of BancTec.
Fallin joined BancTec from EDS, where he most recently served as a vice president responsible for the industrial manufacturing division. Fallin began his career at EDS in 1975 as a systems engineering manager and progressed through key management positions, including sales pursuit leader for enterprise relationships, division manager for the financial industry group, and vice president in the U.S. southwest region responsible for clients in the energy, telecommunications, manufacturing and financial industries.
“Mike is a results-driven leader with three decades of experience managing large, diverse, global teams,” Clark said. “He is keenly focused on growth, profitability and achieving client satisfaction.”
Fallin holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from West Georgia College and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
