BancTec Launches New High-Speed Scanner at Entry-Level Price
DocuScan 6000 is the Newest Member of the DocuScan Family of High-Speed Scanners

BancTec, a global provider of enterprise content management solutions, introduces the newest member of its high-speed document scanner family: the DocuScan 6000.
"The DocuScan 6000 is an entry-level high-speed scanner that can be easily upgraded to the full-functionality of the DocuScan 9000," said Mark Fairchild, Senior Vice President, BancTec Global Products and Operations. He adds, "Most page scanners on the market today are either feature-limited or don’t offer the flexibility to expand or upgrade like the DocuScan 6000."
Designed with the page scanning marketplace in mind, the DocuScan 6000 boasts a more compact physical size that can still digitize and process up to 260 pages per minute. The DocuScan 6000 supports a combination of color, grayscale and bitonal images, bar code recognition, double feed detection and sorting capabilities and is ideal for high-volume page scanning applications.
